I was late to the game registering (after we confirmed a time via the facebook group a few weeks back), and admittedly I didn't get around to setting any expectations with Eleanor about the class--except that we'd be doing a fun Spanish class on the computer. She's never done an online class like this before, so the whole thing was new to her. She LOVED it though! Afterwards I asked what she thought about it, and her reply was, "It was awesome!"
We're excited to do some practicing before next week's class. (And this is jogging my memory, too, from the 4 years of Spanish I took in High School!)

Why this?
Teach your child to sign without the use of screen time for them. You watch the short videos and then use them in your every day life and the suggested activities. Suggested activities include songs, books, pretend play, rhymes, chants and more. This is the most economical way to learn Baby Sign and the healthiest way to teach your child to sign.
My daughter has enrolled in multiple sessions of this class and has enjoyed all of them.
Not only have my children thoroughly enjoyed the classes, they have learned a lot too! Specifically, both my children have really enjoyed using and learning sign language. Everyday they repeat songs and chants with signs they have learned in class, and will often respond in sign language when adults ask them questions. It has been amazing to see my 1.5 year old blossom with language in sign from attending the weekly classes.

Why this?
Some people need a person to guide them through a proven strategy in order to be successful in learning to read and write Japanese writing. The Japanese writing system in complicated and very different from our English alphabet. I personally walk you through a strategy that builds on what you've already learned so that you aren't randomly jumping from one character to the next utilizing nothing but drilling. Context is a really important part of learning any language skill. This course combines drilling with context to enhance retention and long-term recall. I wish I had someone to teach me this way when I was learning. It would have taken me a fraction of the study time.
This class really helped my 8yo practice his Japanese reading and writing. Ms Meredith is s fantastic teacher and she makes what could be a very difficult language fun and understandable.
